I ran a malware scan on that application and Norton quarantined something that I don't recall so I would highly recommend NOT using the software.

Deleting the ""wine64-preloader" worked for me as well. TY for finding the solution to this :)

That is not really a fair assessment of our 3rd party launcher. The XOM team take security extremely seriously and you would have known this if you have done any form of research. We have been around for more than a year and all our code including wine are open source. Please don't speak information about us.

Thanks for the tip. It works fine. But there is another window that doesn't get away, right ?

My MAC is still on Monterey 12.6.5 (havent received the new update yet) and can't get it to open..... wanted to take my Mac with me to the trailer but even with using the XIV it didnt work.... tried doing the download and it just hung.... :(
