Why is DRG's design considered one of the best?

No class is complicated truth be told but DRG is obnoxious in some ways that other classes are not.
While the class is personally fun, there are times where the 9 button rotation with interweaved oGCDs becomes less than ideal in a mechanic intensive place.

It used to be much simpler in the past and noone complained when they started stacking more abilities, and people asking for the reverse arent innately wrong for doing so.

Considering MMOs need to run as long as possible you can only add so many more abilities until you add too much bloat.

But there is no bloat.

This is such a gross misleading... Over-generalization.

Square/Dev's & Co consistently ignore Forum and Player feedback regarding Job balance and changes. Way more threads about preserving Job gameplay and depth vs players complaining about lack of DPS of their Jobs and even those threads are made Players who don't understand nor care for Balance, complaining about top irrelevant top percentile performance differences that never will affect them. Square is not going to read 1 or 2 types of these threads and go " Well shucks, gotta Buff BLM I guess ".

There's no hoard to be found about players complaining about

• Their Jobs being top Difficulty
• There for they should be Top DPS

At least no where near the same amount as " Kaiten removal " Threads and posters. When players asked for Buffs? it was for Fairness. How Auto-Crit was horrible upon release with SAM and WAR. Remember how Week 1 P8S progression showcased RDM RPR just underperforming? They didn't claim their Jobs were top-dog difficulty, they generally wanted fairness - rightfully so.

This is utterly misleading and quite insulting for the Forum posters. Players want Fairness, that's different. Read the forums and you'll see a lot more then just " DPS performance " topics

• Caster feedback for Endwalker
• Bard topics with lots about Dots
• SMN complaints about their Job's gameplay
• MCH about their Job's gameplay
• SMN MCH BRD QOL changes
• BRD disappointments and
• RPR dissatisfaction Topics
• SAM Kaiten still

Asking for Fairness is different, as is asking for difficulty of gameplay to be kept and preserved.

Square does not give a F about our Feedback, they'll implement changes however they want whenever they want without rhyme nor reason.

As a main DRG since 2.0, I'm fine with the job. My only complaint is that we have to weave a lot of OGCD skills and latency(clipping/drifting) start to become a problem.

However, there's no feedback about high latency anywhere, so it's not a problem for the dev team to look into it.

Since they're not fixing that, I refrain from trying high end content :(

You can play DRG just fine with up to 200ms~, you don't need to double weave jumps and even then higher ping is insignificant loss.
Not even close to the most unforgiving job when it comes to latency, so no it doesn't need to be addressed.

200ms most of the time is the best we can achieve lmao

I'm only level 70, and my three hotbars are filled as it is, and I've still got more stuff to unlock. I am 'casual' I guess, I don't want to be macroing or whatever, so this is coming up to the limit of my hotbars personally.

DRG does need a rework IMO, if only to get the AoE's in earlier. I can't be running around Doom spiking my way through dungeons. It feels like DRG is an awesome boss killer, but meh if we're going for giant pulls. I love the class, and will continue to main it, but sheesh it could cut some stuff down and introduce some things earlier.

So enable more hotbars.

If that is how you feel that is fine though despite your sarcasm the community is way sbove the likes of WoW or LoL.
