I probably have, but 'forum user decries the death of the game for making content that isn't tailor-made for them in particular in all of content, difficulty and aesthetic' isn't especially memorable or noteworthy so I'm always a bit surprised when anyone actually recognizes a name on here.

It is a bit weird they're returning to it instead of doing something from another Endwalker culture, but with the original 90 maps being a Loporrit creation and the new ones being Elpis-based in addition to the raid tier taking place there i don't especially blame them for going back to a pre-existing plot hook.

If one thing IS weird about it, it's that it only seems to require completion of palace of the dead to floor 50, meaning that you don't even need to beat heaven on high's 30 story to find out that that had something to do with the Allagans as well.

True, though perhaps it's going to be more along the lines that HoH and EO (I suppose we'll call it) are two pieces of the one story puzzle rather than needing to be done in sequence. Or maybe it just seemed too much to expect people to clear both previous dungeons to get access to the third.

Whatever content they ever planned to expand on HoH's ending, it was probably unlikely to set it as a prerequisite.

PotD - level 50 - unlocks HoH - new DD.

My guess is that you can or should do them in sequence.

Hoping for more Binding Coils music for the deep dungeon, some of the best music in the game.

I'm not bothered by the chosen aesthetic I just hope they mix it up a bit mechanically and it isn't just the same but with a few new poms.

I don't particularly care what it looks like. PotD is ugly. HoH is ugly. This will be ugly too. Procedurally generated envirnoments are always garbage.

What I do hope, is that the lesson was finally learned and they've chopped another half of worthless filler floors off. Just 50 floors. Equivalent in difficulty to 150-200 PotD.

And have the baby story mode for the casuls if need be.
