FCs with housing can continue as usual with the way the workshop currently functions and FCs without housing should be able to access the workshop from the GC as well. The only losers in this scenario are those that want to horde airship/sub loot and FC crafting items.

If housing was available to everyone, then there really wouldn't be a need to charge anyone for it. There also wouldn't be a need to have different sizes.

Furnishings given as event rewards really need to be given a fresh perspective. The majority of those go right into player storage because they are heavily themed towards said event. Those are optional items, so the burden of having them in your inventory is on you alone should you choose to participate in the events.

Without glitching, current housing would go from not having enough slots to having too many in a finger snap. What we could do as far as decorating would be severely limited. Housing is actually a pretty sweet deal as is; it's just getting into one.

An FC without a house is like being in the rain without an umbrella. All you need is 3 million gil and you cannot make that? No, this lack of financial aptitude shouldn't be rewarded. losers who cannot learn MB supply and demand don't get free access to ships and subs.

It's not even free access. You still have to pay for workshop set up and then get your ships and subs set up. Not sure why you're trying to gatekeep this or act like youre entitled to something special for getting a house. Not making enough money out of exploiting people with foot stools on a dead DC?

Also what exactly does MB supply and demand have to do with a function that does not involve selling on the MB at all? Lmao. You can easily just pay someone for the starting mats to get your recipes and the rest can be gathered and crafted on your own. Hell, even the valuable stuff brought in from subs are just sold to NPC vendors.

What a stretch.

And some want it solely so they can have something others can't get.

Instanced housing solves these types of problems.

Every player can get what they want regardless of what other players also have it.

If someone only wanted something because they couldn't get it, they'll no longer want it.

If someone only wanted something because others wouldn't be able ot get it, they'll no longer want it.

It removes the artificial demand while meeting the actual demand.

No one gets free access to ships and subs unless give that access by someone who has already paid for it.

Housing must be purchased. The workshop must be purchased. The parts must be built, which means buying mats if the player isn't buying the parts outright.

None of that is free.

Plenty of games have instance housing, its about time to make the needed change. Even minecraft servers are starting to do this. Those saying wait for Island Sanctuary…Yoshi-P has already said dont get our hopes high and has already mentioned some of the features it will have. But maybe this feedback will change that. They have already said they respond better to feedback that isnt just yells and demands. So if we want this we should provide adequate feedback instead.

Why we would like this:
- more housing creativity
- access to features a house provides for all.
- place to put all the event furniture
- more player made events for everyone to enjoy at these houses and they wont clog up a zone where people are trying to quest,buy items etc or wards where others live therefore denying access to go there

No, it doesn't. It will always be considered inadequate by some people, regardless of what SE does.
And those people will come complain here, and insist they have "the support of the community" for their new demands.

Too many people fail to understand that a MMORPG is not like a bespoke suit.
Like fashion, game design is at least as much an art as a science.
So when buying a mass-market product, the consumer don't get to specify what they get.
The designer/tailor creates what they think a market wants, or even just what they want to.
Then the consumer gets to choose from what the designers/tailors have put on the rack.
If one product doesn't suit them, they can go to another designer/tailor.

That's why "find another game" is exactly the right response to some people's complaints.
Including a lot of the complaints about housing, in my opinion.
