Make an alt... some of us do. You might be surprised redoing content can be fun.
congratulations on finishing the game!!!!
did you know, you are the FIRST person in over 10 years to have done so!!! I am thankful you posted here, in these forums to let us know about your jaw dropping feat.
by the way, just curious but... why would you think that something from a level 80 normal raid was from a savage if you had... done it all?
There's still plenty to do for people that have no interest in interacting with others (outside of required MSQ trials/dungeons)
1. Level all of the other jobs
2. Crafting/Gathering
3. 5 Relic weapon grinds
4. Beast Tribes
5. All quests
6. Sightseeing/Gathering/Fishing Logs
7. Golden Saucer content
8. Building up Glams for your job(s)
9. Shared FATE tracks
10. Squadrons
etc.
"I've completed everything that I want to do. What else is there to do?" is not the same as "I've completed the game." or even "I've completed all of the single player content available."
If you consider being the story to be the "end" for you then you just don't want to do anything more. If you go to a restaurant and don't want anything on their menu, it's not that they "Don't have anything to eat."
You beat the game the moment you finished msq, there isn't really any meaningful progression after that. SE made very sure EVERYTHING is optional as hell so doing the rest of the content is like trying to get a 100% on a game, but not really the main dish anyways.
If you’ve a lack of things to do check out your achievement log. Outside of housing, new game plus, and player-driven social events, that log generally lists everything about everything you can possibly progress towards or complete. Otherwise, take a break and come back when the things you care about doing have more content added
I agree about starting fresh again with an alt. Ive been doing it for quite some time and it gives a nice perspective on many parts of the game. Especially if you play a race differ from your main or play other jobs
Assuming the Something you refer to is the 600 weapon. This is via upgrading my 590 item, which requires a Radiant Roborant, which requires four Asphodelos Mythos III, which you get in Asphodelos: The Third Circle (Savage)
The stat gain I'd get from it is so minor it isn't worth the trouble..
