Suggestion. Removal of gender-locked hair.

There are quite a few plain long hairstyles that are currently female-only but would be fine as long styles for men. Some of the race-locked hairstyles or the early universal styles where they were still gendered, like the dreadlocks and the long wavy style. And then you have unlockable styles like Alma's that would look fantastic as a historical men's style. (I would love to dress up one of my male characters with that hairstyle and the High House justaucorps, but my only option for that combination is to crossdress one of my female characters.)

It doesn't matter if there are different teams. This is a matter of knowing how time works.Time is still being allocated towards a rework. If two cars are going to the exact same destination and one takes the main route, while the other takes a detour; time that can never be regained is still lost by the second car that took the detour.

A style like Alma's or any other that is gender locked isn't necessarily an issue of how feasible it is for it to be worn on other races and genders. If that was the case, I would make an issue about hairstyles with cross availability that look absolutely atrocious and was an utter waste of time to implement. It has more to do with those styles having already been released.

The last thing I will mention about time, is how people will shift their arguments depending on how it works for them. Tanks pulling the whole dungeon? Well, we need to save time. Time needed to release restrictions on gear? Eff the dev's time, they need to figure out a way to get it done. See what I mean?

People want time spent on things that they consider important? What a bizarre concept.

No, I don't know what you mean if it isn't what you said.

People get frustrated at doing a task slowly when the same outcome could be achieved with a quicker method.

People ask game developers to make things that they would like to see in the game.

I don't see how wanting both of these things simultaneously is in any way contradictory. You want time to be spent on things that you regard as useful.

The two things are a poor contrast in any case. One (reaching the end of a dungeon) is something that will happen whether it happens quickly or slowly. The other (altering a model to make it available) is something that cannot exist without having some amount of time spent on it.

I don't think anyone actually knows the true timeline of what's happening behind the scenes, nor are involved in the meetings discussing them. So, expressing a desire for something in a game and attempting to get a gauge from the community on the subject isn't some sort of affront like your posts appear to suggest it is. Even so, if players are interested in something, or do want something, it's not really on my end as a paying customer to actually care about the difficulty or technicality involved when it comes to implementation - it doesn't mean that I don't care about the development team as humans and the potential pressure they might be under in general, but it does mean I think the game might deserve more resources from the AAA company it's a part of to make some more things possible.

Though, what is important to you and what you believe the team ought to put resources in, is a subjective opinion that concerns what you want the most. Not really any different from what the OP has posted, to be frank. Everyone has an opinion on where resources, development time, or additions and potential solutions to a plethora of aspects about this game should go and, generally speaking, it'll be up to the development team and its leadership to decide what the best route is with regards to these things.

All that said, I've felt that hairstyles should just be available to whomever would want to use them. They are, ultimately, just hairstyles.

No more gender locked gear? And for gear with different gender look, people can choose which look they wanna use? Hmmmm!?
