My feedback on Crystal Conflicts

1Its the ranking system that pisses me off the most, especially as a Dancer.
I feel weak, 1v1 none of my skills, not even Saber dancer has enough oomph to move the enemy HP, BUT I can at least pop my charm and hope my team knows what their doing.

The big problem is.... most teams do not, So they have taken your ability to rank up entirely out of your hands.
Will your Team AFK after the first push when they got decimated by the enemy? You personally lose a rank regardless of how well you did.
Will your Team just not be able to counter (Or in a great deal of cases get a single kill, yes 2 out of 5 losses not a single kill is scored by the losing team) the enemy from the get go? You personally lose a rank regardless of how well you did.
Your team 4 weaker DPS classes vs 2 tanks and a healer? You personally lose a rank regardless of how well you did.
Your team any made up of DPS who know what their doing but facing any number of tanks paired with a healer? You personally lose a rank regardless of how well you did.
Your team have tanks that don't use stuns and/or Healers who don't even bother because they think their heals do nothing? You personally lose a rank regardless of how well you did.

The solo que makes any one or more of those situations happen at least every 9 out of 10 times you que (Your experience may differ) and the match is decided from the moment the two teams meet right at the start, the rest of the game is just one team being steamrolled, getting angry, and ragequitting wanting to ever PvP again. You end up feeling totally powerless and unable to get ranks.
I got lucky, i got to Bronze 3 off a 3 match streak, but after that, I never got a win again and have been stuck at Bronze 0 stars ever since.
There is literally no way I can leave Bronze tier for silver. No one person can carry a team (And i most certainly cannot, im an average player at best).

Fast matches, can still leave you feeling very bitter as you watch your hard earned stars vanish due to actions totally out of your control.
Im glad we dont have chat, because when my rage levels get up, it gets pretty difficult to keep quiet, even if i try to be constrictive instead of abusive.

And lets not forget, tanks are totally broken, near endless stuns, good damage, and massive defense. Its horrible seeing even one blue, let alone two and a green in the enemy team.
Most players I have seen give up before the match has even begun.

I prefer it to other modes like Frontlines because there just seems to be too much going on, but there's one main thing that annoys me that's already been mentioned, and that's that there's way too much CC going on. Especially since skill recast times reset on respawn. Any time a player returns from dying I get ping-pong'd around, turned into an imp, stunned, heavy, then ping-pong'd again. I go from full health to zero with no chance to heal because I'm otherwise unable to use my skills.

I enjoy it as a concept and as an alternative to other modes, but there's some serious balancing that needs to be done. People will just pick the most braindead and annoying jobs and that's all you'll see soon. Boy I sure do love meta.

Rather than not allowing people to talk, I'd rather see something like a discord slow mode on chat. If people can't run their mouths constantly then they won't have time for bickering if they want to, you know, win. Would also curb kneejerk responses.

Nah. There will be people on for the Garo stuff. It's also way easier to get certain achievements now, I've always wanted the Gloria airship mount and now I feel it's within my reach. Helps that the pvp is fast and fun.

For me I think my one complaint is how annoying the ranking system can be because of the randommess of what teams you can get. Day one I kept getting into a cycle once I hit Bronze that I'd win a match, then lose one. Won one, then got a team that almost afked the whole thing and we lost fast.

Yeah, ranked matchmaking is hot garbage. Literally had 7 kills, wiped a couple people twice with my lb, several assists, most damage on my team... while my second place team mate got 3 kills and the others 0 or 1. I lost a rank despite putting up a better fight than anyone on both teams. You're punished for bad matchmaking and leveling up is sheer luck.

All it does it make it more grindy and takes out any kind of skill for crystal rank.

Aside from fixing Purify to work properly and tuning balance between some Jobs, I've had a blast. Already grinded to Crystal rank.
