When the new NA Datacenter drops, the devs will find out how very quickly people won't be anywhere near as willing to transfer given how they handled Materia. Granted, those without houses will, obviously, take a chance if they're so inclined. Nevertheless, I think we'll see far more hesitation all around. The only benefit, at least, will be DC travel.
