My mentioning that was supposed to be a joke since I thought this was a joke thread.

But yeah, I did the Limsa Lominsa role quests a short time after doing Omicron stuff and noticed that besides the limb proportions, they both have the same exact movements where they tilt their head and scratch.

So while they’re layered on top of Sahagin, they obviously have nothing to do with them since they’re aliens, but a behavior like that probably comes from their time as biological beings since there’s no point for a machine to scratch its head in confusion or while thinking.

The reasoning I was using is Alpha is the first letter in the Greek alphabet, and Omega is the last, and all the other war machines the Omicrons use are greek letters.

I'm not sure that's possible. Endsinger "saved" the civilizations from pain and suffering by not allowing life to continue. She didn't destroy the civilizations herself. So they wouldn't have been able to be reborn.
