If you are just starting I recommend buying a level boost for a dark knight and just play through the lower level content with your armor level reduced.
Then when reaper drops you can play that right away through the story content.
You will likely end up playing darknight/reaper/ everyone plays red mage
I would but everyone tells me that the dark knight story is amazing. I want to see the dark knights story.
