If Endwalker launched this summer, on the usual schedule, I imagine they probably would've put the event in the usual spot. THis is the most likely reason. They probably had it worked on in Endwalker branch, and then EW gets delayed so instead of trying to add it to pre-Endwalker and taking time to bug test it there, they choose to do it late.

As others have said, they are scrambling to get Endwalker ready on time. Also, go to Google and type "covid cases in Japan." It's still a thing, by the way!

We're getting an all Saints Wake Event this year? AWESOME. It's nice how they're taking some time out of their already hectic and busy schedule with Endwalker to give us a "halloween" event. I can't wait to see it when it comes out. Thanks Yoshi-P! But don't stress out too much with endwalker!
