I... just wanted them to be clearer regarding the functionality, because nothing in the tooltip from the Fey Illumination makes that difference obvious, unless I'm missing a vital reading somewhere else. Everything just says Cure Potency.
I remember the few times back in Heavensward when Whm Divine seal could boost the healing of Assize and Asylum and they had to do a hotfix to make sure that was not the case. They do not want healing buffs to ogcds.
Back to the topic at hand, favorite cd would probably be Confiteor. In terms of least favorite, probably Inner Chaos as its just a reskinned Inner Beast.
Edit: For that part it's the magic. Ogcds are not considered magic, as strange as that sounds and if you notice, stuff like aldo and physick are considered spells.
Unfortunately, like Ilenya has explained, the tooltip isn’t just too obvious at first glance. I personally won’t ever notice the difference if I don’t play around the skills with my friend for their pretty effects in town (just to look cool lol). The easiest test is to pop Dissipation/Fey Illumination, then compare the restoration amount of [Physick] vs [Indomitability]. Both are being 400 pot but you’ll notice Physick’s will heal slightly more while the latter stays unchanged.
In the tooltip, “Healing Actions” is a different story however. They include both spells and abilities.
Favorite: Pitch Perfect
Lined up with Apex or Refulgent its so satisfying to nail it and since its not as common as refulgent it always feels satisfying. Honorable mention to Heart of stone (idk why I like it so much), Auto Cross bow (Wouldve been ricochet but thanks to the janky charge system ,it lost its satisfying edge due to cringe damage and being poorly designed as bloat) Chaos thrust for reasons I cant explain and Forbidden Chakra as uppercuts are cool.
Least Favorite: Art of War
Gravity is pretty, Holy is fun to spam and then theirs Fart of war being a lesser miasma. it just doesnt feel fun to use imo which is SCH bigger issue rn due to the "Lets make jobs accessible" initiative that continues to plague the game and i bet a high dollar one of your favorite jobs will suffer its blight
So eating your fairy gives you your pips back, and buffs your non-pip heals.
How strange...
Favorite? Hmm... that's a toughie. I have a weakness for DRG's jumps. Dragonfire Dive in particular has always been very cool, but Stardiver is pretty much equally cool with a horse neighing thrown in for some reason... gonna go with Dragonfire Dive for its seniority.
Least Favorite: Aeolian Edge. It looks like dog shit, and is a vastly inferior animation and sound effect compared to Dancing Edge. What makes it even worse is that any time, ever since they added a positional to it, that your positional is off, the sound effect is diminished and sounds horribad. Modern Ninja makes me upset in so many ways.
I never haved a favourite skill but if i have to say some i would say dark arts, old abyssal drain, power Slash or scourge.
My least favourite is current Delirium by far, never liked inner release mechanics but Delirium take it to a new level despiste being literally the same IR skill.
Favorite: The Blackest Night
It's just awesome to have such a strong on demand shield. Eating tankbusters like nothing and you can even cheese some mechanics.
Least favorite: Enochian
Why is this even still a button? Just change it into a trait already.
