Alisaie becomes the new job.. my prediction

I can see Zenos getting the Reaper job

Yeah also think Zenos will be a variation of the new job, he tossed out his last sword and is looking for a new weapon.

My money's on Estinien. Alisaie already had her trade up when she went to RDM.

Aliasae doesn't need to become a new job, she basically became a RDM while Alphy was still essentially playing Arcanist/not-SCH all this time. He was overdue a proper job change anyways. She just needed new threads is all.

Didn't she change before, though? I believe it was in one of the patches leading up to SB. The scene were she pulls that sword out of her book.

yes that's true it was is in Patch 3.4 Soul Surrender if i remember correctly

Yoshida said in the showcase she wasn't going to change jobs, just attire, he also said that Estinien is the first Trust using the Dragoon job and said Zenos' sudden change in appearance has a "very good reason behind it." Specifically pointing out his armor —which he used to wear Legatus armor, akin to fending gear as a Samurai— looked a bit "lighter" than before. New job is confirmed to be using maiming gear, which is, in fact, lighter than the Legatus armor he had on previously.

I don't really get how people could think anyone but Zenos could be the new job when they haven't been subtle about it at all—he literally broke his weapon and said he needed to find something new. At this point its so in our faces that I don't really know how anyone can question it at this point? Sure, he could be rocking an NPC only job, but between the secrecy behind it and all the subtle hints, I think the likelihood of Zenos not being the new melee is exceedingly low.

She doesn't really need a new job. The 'personal development' thing felt more like a nod toward character development...and there's much more to character development than slapping on a new job. Sure, a new job CAN work with character development but it isn't required, and we already had her swapping to red mage which fits her well.

A new outfit and job are just surface level, nice accessories to character development/personal growth but not the actual important part of it.

As others have said if the other new job is used by an existing npc I expect it to be Zenos after he got rid of his katana.

I think the new Melee DPS class will be a scythe wielding type of job, that will have a mix of some type of magic.

A necro-similar type class with a dark magic augmentation.
