So no more silly $3/fee character, you pay a set price and get x amount? Dat is epic imo.

If you're Legacy member, you get 8 per World. Meaning, more than 8 :D (maximum 40).

Entry sub is 1 per World, up to 8.

I was not expecting this.

So Im guessing if you have 3 characters on your account, you can only choose 1 of them.

I would like clarification on names as well, I'm planning on changing my surname come 2.0 and I would love to have either my rl name or my 2.0 name so people know who it is.

I would love my rl name in the credits to show off to my friends, "look I made FFXIV :D"

You can't change your characters name in 2.0, I thought Yoshi only said your race/gender was able to be changed because the new graphics engine will make them look different.
