At the very least, Ifrit seems to be inspired, at least in part, by Lahabrea's Ifrita concept. Not to say there couldn't also be a giant lizard that serves as the basis of the myth of the Amal'jaa. We don't know much about Ifrita save her name and the fact she's a fire-type concept. The primal myths could be sourced from multiple different things including Allagan generals, Amaurotine concepts or Auspices.

Riffing on this, here is one: Is Lucia is in love with Aymeric? Was this the breaking point that caused her to flip sides? Maybe I got the vibe wrong, but I feel admiration for upheld ideals of Aymeric isn't enough to forsake your homeland unless it leads to more hopeless romantic situation.

Where did the horns that were used to create Tupsimati come from? The Ascian Travanchet also sought one of these horns during 1.0. What are these horns? Are there more of them? What manner if beast do they belong to?

Given Travachent's was found near where Amaurot should be I've assumed since ShB they were Amaurot relics. It would be nice to have info though.

Heart of Sabik is called "Black Auracite: Sabik" in Japanese. The English calls it a heart because large gemstones are sometimes given poetic names, like "Heart of the Ocean" from Titanic.

The implication seems to be that Sabik here is akin to the Lucavi auracites....

And considering that the Dark God was named for one of said Lucavi....
