What? The entire reason it's synched as tightly as it is is so that they could balance it without making it accessible only to savage raiders in BiS gear.

The fact that people don't know how to play their jobs and need to git gud doesn't mean the content is too hard or that the enrage timer is "nigh impossible to beat out."

Learn to play your class, do the mechanics. it's easy.

I blame this honestly. Modern ex trials are soooo ridiculously forgiving in terms of DPS requirement. The game needs to become harder so bads stop getting a free pass. Git gud or do something else.

Since my second SoS EX clear I've been regularly killing it so fast I've skipped mechanics.
Like... whaaat?

Well deaths in the old days were a lot more punishing for everyone involved. You would raise up with lower maximum HP until weakness wore off, in addition to taking hits to your damage dealt. You'd also lose Protect, which if you had a WHM, gave you more magic defense. On top of that, unless you had a SMN, the only raises in party were healers, and MP economy was much tighter due to having less oGCD heals on top of them planning around parties having Bards sing Mage's Ballad to restore MP.

Direct hit did not exist and potencies were far far lower. For example the potency on DRG's Full Thrust is currently 530. In ye olden times, it was 300. We had stronger and more % increase buffs and debuffs to put on enemies, but even accounting for all of them, total potency was still lower.

So basically over time they've buffed player power while not scaling up whatever metric they were using to design bosses/attribute a boss's total HP, except for in Savage and Ultimate. Even then, checks are pretty lulzy.

That all said, trying to PF Shiva Unreal the first week it dropped lead me to see Shiva's enrage, which I'd never seen before in my life hah. SMH

youre bad at arr ex content. chill. its not the end of the world.

I am just tired to progress the fight every week again two times because people always jump ship after the first clear. And you get so few tokens that it will take a lot of weeks to get the mount and minion.

Not really worth the time without a static.

Right now you can get two items with the leaves (the mount and the bandana).
Does anyone know if these items will rotate out when they change out the unreal fight? Or is this going to be a cumulative shop?

Yeah I already got the ribbon from Khloe, much easier and faster than with Shiva unreal, but the 3 lines for the mount is a different story.

I guess nobody knows about the rewards. But I think they will stay forever and when we reach the HW primals they will add new ones to the existing ones, namely a rainbow bird mount.

I clear this weekly within two to four. The painful part is the low value you receive from Hollows. I just did my first clear this week and botched finding the 2x2 and now only get 5 points for the effort. Either increase hollows given or decrease how much to gain rewards. It’s painfully grindy to get a copy and paste mount...

There's casual friendly content, and then there's catering to those who can't be bothered to push 2 sequenced buttons correctly, if I believe what I see in the site and addon that must not be named...

Stop using the first one as an excuse for being actually in the second category.
