Im definitely not against mounts for healers, at the least as an apology. They deserved another one this expansion, since Tanks got one. I agree with forementioned worries about the implications of this as well, but what really can they do to attempt to get more people to go back to healing at this point? I hope 6.0 takes this homogenization as just the basics and rolls some stuff back, making jobs unique again. I doubt they will, they seem pleased at the results. Its apparent they messed up, though, and I am not blaming ex healers for standing up to that "rebalancing" they obliterated my DRK, i can only imagine how healers feel
I agree, but I wouldn't stop with just tanks and healers, I wish every job would get a mount special to that job only for completing 300 high lvl duties on that job.
It would give us people who play a lot something to do when waiting on content to drop.
Let's be honest, same as tank mounts, people will just play the lowest lvl posible Duty unsynced over and over until they get the mount (me included), which will hardly make any change with the current lack of healers
That isn't how most people do it though, the roulettes-as-achievements help a lot.
As a current healer main, a lot of the complaints are way too overblown. Sad, really.
They can easily add enough incentive to play Healer if they improve their QoL to make them 'fun' again. Check the Healer Role Sub-forums for info on what they want.
Good God, no. We'd end up with even more green dps who aren't there to actually fill the role than we have now.
