Remove Gender-Locked Class/Weapon Poses

I just want the male DRK idle pose. Putting the sword over your shoulder looks infinitely better than what us girls get.

that cloud stance through lucy, i like my lightning stance through. many these stance come other ff games. i also want more gender stance it a way give these people demand to do away with genders a middle finger. look game that tried doing away gender in game and how bad they doing one that shall not be name on some place tlou we shall not name it in fullness. let have more unqine job gender stance in ffxiv please let also have job base swim suit i feel weird going spear for fish in character that has full leather and cloth gear

my suggest to yoshi p is to said in honor of all those who interview me i will add more unqiue gender stance and clothing.

I agree, giving more gender specific poses would be great.

to be honest the dark knight stance for female remind me of fate stay the night. I think that be awesome cross over events

male get archer gear and female get saber gear that interesting

Square enix could benefit massively from a Fate Night crossover, specially in japan. And yes, that Dark Knight pose for females has that Fate/Night look to it.

I didn’t say anyone implied that, I'm explaining homogenization is not what you think it is. These poses are not something that defines a gender. Where fire spells are part of what defines Blackmage. Jobs are primarily defined by the abilities they have. These poses do not define male and female. The two lancer poses are just two poses lancers do and have nothing to do with being male or female.

As for variety
Now:
male - pose A
female - pose B

If both had both:
male - pose A
male - pose B
female - pose A
female - pose B

I have made this exact post before, asking for the poses to be given to both genders. As someone who wants the Male DRG pose, and know people who want the female DRK and MNK poses, again I want this so badly.

It's official. Homogenization is the new overused buzzword.

Oh, and I agree with giving both battle /cpose options to everyone. The animations already exist and /cpose already cycles through multiple poses for the non-battle poses so all of the pieces are already in place.

Can you really blame them in this expansion? xD

look i will point how much this relate to models they use for the game. it very heavy great sword they what pose to be life like is woman going hold her great over her back or some way benfit her. i like male samuri pose but i realize that men and women different how hold a weapon is different special weapon that weigh alot a 6 foot great sword is different depend on weilder be male or female. i think add addiction pose for male and female would be nice yet we need remember how the human body strength divide in male and female and how they going hold weapon depend on that body strength look i remember when dev use design for gaming they use live models sometime for gaming design and character design aswell

this may be demand that is never able to be meet by the dev or any devs on planets because the human body between the sex are different as alway will be different
