The world as we know it will be changed, not gone. Eorzea will still be intact, just different. From a gamer's standpoint though, yes the world of 1.X is gone and 2.0 is a different world.Quote:

Who said you will be able to teleport to town when now we have 2 returns to two different towns. One to an in and one to another place(could be another town).
So, with that in mind, they would just have to take out the teleport in the towns, but even then, you can just "return" with no anima cost at all. Just a little wait time.
