Question regarding MCH's Lunchbox

We can hide helmets from sight if we don't like them. Hroth boys have that effect as the default. There is no reason why we can't use the same magic or technology to hide that ugly box.

I have to assume that you've never actually carried a flute, especially one that isn't designed to be disassembled. They're not exactly easy to just shove into a pocket. And whether a player could hide one at all depends on their character's race and glamour; I'd have to be wearing a trench coat for that to work.

Relatedly, there's also the harp that bards pull out of thin air to use their songs. Which they still do even when using a bow that has a harp built in, like the Artemis Bow (which, lore-wise, was specifically made to avoid this issue by quickly folding and unfolding, but it still goes away to use a song).

Either way, though, you don't see them when you don't need them. So why can't the lunch box pull the same disappearing act?

Alright sorry for not being more obvious but I was joking from the start. Why would I care about a Peloton animation lol, it was a comment meant to allude on how insignificant the lunchbox is. I'd have said Tactician animation if I wanted to make a better argument :P.

lmao understandable, I've also got wooshed on jokes a bunch of times because of fatigue and lack of concentration. I know how it sucks which is why I clarified pretty fast lol.

It would be nice to have a /lunchboxoff command like what they did with Gauss Barrel a while back. I'm guessing there isn't enough complaints about the lunchbox or maybe they just aren't capable of doing it due to programming reasons? At the very least, it would be nice to have at least 1 gun that doesn't come with it. I know SAM have at least 3 Katanas that don't have a scabbard attached.

Ultimately the lunchbox is there because that's what gives SE the excuse that you hold a carbine in one hand while the other does...seemingly nothing. I justify it by thinking that the left hand is a conduit for the aether that creates the bullets, its hovering over the lunchbox almost all the time, so surely having your hand near it is like turning off the safety in a real firearm...maybe.

I dunno - MCH animations have always been kinda dumb.
