There is 0 help anyone can give anyone on this without knowing what your gear and level are.
Rotations can help, but your specific stats and level will make most rotations required severe editing. So, here is my advice to help out.
First and foremost, get your synthesis out of the way, just get it to one more tap to finish. Then just work on and figure out how to get your touch to up your insight and finish it with byrgots. This is crafting theory in a nutshell. You should look at any rotation for ideas, but earlier levels are hardest to get a rotation for that works properly.
Next, yes, learn the tool tips..... through helpful videos! I’ll link my tutorial guide on the basics to help out. I go over a lot of the moves and changes from 5.1

Now, you just need to work on your technique. Learn the moves slowly and HAVE FUN. Too many use crafting for just income and rely on rotations. Not all rotations work for all situations. Crafting has some chaos in it and the 5.2 changes are introducing a lot of new high end randomness. So take it slow, enjoy it, and figure it all out as you go.
The randomness won't last very long. I am no theory crafter and far from a hard core crafter. But countering is not hard to figure out. Rotations have a set number of steps. Be that 15,18,30 whatever. So if you have a 15 step rotation, that's 14 chances for the proc. 14 points where you need change your rotation. If you make note of the changes you make at all 14 points. You can then create a cheat chart. This of course is a job for theory crafters and their communities to tackle.
Forgot actions that increase quality or progress trigger condition changes. So proc chances will be based on the number synth actions. This would apply to your main rotation and Rotational changes in response to a proc. Of course how fast someone makes this or something like it will depend on how many procs are needed to finish a expert craft. As well as often the proc happens when crafting a expert recipe..
I consider crafting high level items impossible without the Teamcraft simulator. It lets me set up a rotation that will work with no risk (Unless I end up with a Poor status in the wrong place). I'm not about to spend hours / days gathering the materials only to lose them blindly trying out a new rotation..
