Please fix Alliance Raid "Roulette"

Honestly I had no clue the situation was that bad nowadays.

Queuing for the single raids is what i meant to do myself, after refreshing my memory with guides, to relearn better (since I forgot most of the fights and no, not all of them are intuitive). And that's why i suggested doing that.
But yeah, based on the waiting times said it's impossible for anyone.

I mean, seeing how much people die and wipe on stupid stuff even in LotA, they never learned that either anyway, so what does it change?

I used to like LotA, but after getting it so often it's becoming a bit of a drag. I'd take spamming it than a Dun Scaith run any day, though.
I do get variation, just for the record. But it's usually LotA.

This is not unlike a thread a while back where people were complaining about how a premade party in leveling roulette would often get sastasha, even though the entire party would be 60-70 plus. The only fix to your gripe (and I share it) would be to tier the raid roulettes. I would actually go so far as to pull the CT raids and put them under MSQ Alliance Raids, since that is basically what they are now. The other raids are sidestory content that may or may not be directly tied to the story. With this expansion, the CT raids are basically MSQ. So lets treat them as such and give us the other raids in a separate roulette. Problem solved.

Actually I'll raise that suggestion to making it mandatory for all content in that roulette be unlocked, just like for Expert. Wanna do Alliance? You have to have all raid tiers unlocked. That should help a bit.

Edit: Relative to your level of course. So if you're lvl 70 you have to have all the lvl 60 AND 70 raids unlocked (along with the lvl 50 ones if they dont make a separate MSQ raid, but they really should at this point).

I used to be ok with Crystal Tower... now I can't even stand the place anymore. Kinda like the way it goes with Alexander now too.

I agree with the sentiment of increasing rewards for the higher raids that are done.

I don't believe it would absolutely fix the issue, but I would assume you would start to see more people willing to stay higher geared, or we'll start at least seeing Void Ark a little more, and I'd honestly be happy to start getting bored with something other than LotA.

Yeah, the later (60+) content definitely feels better, tho I've yet to unlock the 70+ stuff, where I imagine it feels even smoother. Just from what I can see, builds really come together in terms of survival and extra fun burst or tricks.

I've run into the flip side of this by accident, doing Leveling roulette on a lesser-played job. Unintentionally I find myself in a 60+ dungeon and have to play my best ;D (of course I probably could have removed gear to cheese it or w/e, lol). It seems that if you *can* do harder stuff, you're prioritized to do it, for the most part. OP just had bad RNG, because I've gotten into the lvl60 raids quite a lot too, even if the Crystal Tower ones win out a bit. (again, I'm locked out of the 70+ stuff for now).

Totally agree with OP.

Also a hot take: if having to deal with anything less than a perfect run is going to make someone's roulette longer than they have time for (and that's why they like to cheese ilvl for the level 50 raids), they shouldn't even enter the roulette tbh. People still wipe in Labyrinth of the Abyss and World of Darkness so cheesing your ilvl still isn’t a 100% guarantee of an easy, fast run.

So, a friend of mine and I have been making bets when we jump into Alliance Roulette.
I bet Crystal Tower in general or Ozma (I forget its proper name, City of Mhach?)
He bets LotA. Just LotA.
Our dream: Rid or Rab or some other one
The reality: CT or Ozma
We have not had a single alliance that wasn't CT or Ozma in weeks, at least a good month.
