People are only focusing on their frustration for the issue, and ignoring a proposition for a reasonable solution to server congestion. People were so prejudiced against wanderers despite all their assistance. Someone has to put a stop to it, and make it possible for everyone to come and work together again.
I will continue to stand by that instances sharing progress bars are the way to go for everyone involved.

I believe Yoshi P made the right call on server locking firmament's from other worlds. People were flocking over and blocking people from its own server from being allowed to join and being toxic about it. Each Server seems to be progressing at the same rate as you can check on the Ishgard Restoration website(except for balmung). It's made a lot of people happy and it's a good change for the community.

Excuse you two? The wanderers were kind and helped craft for all servers, large and small, so that everyone could get more credit faster and enjoy the event. It was not the Wanderers' fault that there was no instance system to prevent congestion.
On the contrary, it was some of the homeworld players (mostly the homeworld non-crafters) who were acting with prejudice and hate in their hearts- these handfuls of homeworlders telling the Wanderers to get off their server, quoting racist memes from Donald Trump and South Park, talking about how "they took our jobs" and "we're gonna build the wall and make them pay for it." As well as malicious behavior and language that would make a sailor blush.
The way the event wasn't optimized ideally. That was the issue, not the Wanderers.
I'm proposing a way to fix that and make the event enjoyable for all, and all I'm receiving are opinions full of more malice. -

It was unfair for the people on their home world to be locked out because other wanderers would just camp out the firmament on other worlds then mock players afterwards. It was a good thing at first but people took advantage of it and started being toxic about it. Right now it's enjoyable for a lot of people and they seem happy about this change. Sorry you don't seem to feel the same way but I enjoy working on the firmament with just my own server to help.Quote:

The home-world players being unable to participate is an issue that needs fixing. If multiple instances were the only solution sure go on with it. In my opinion the fate needs to spawn more often (fe. instead of 2 times, make it 4 times - we are building 2 things at once so that should be easy to split up) and reward the players only once per stage because 2x 500 scripts is too much anyways.
The wanderers are their own issue. Sure some of them were helping, but the help is toxic in its own way. Instead of letting people enjoy the event for longer duration of time, the wanderers were speeding things up which made it so less people could enjoy it while the work was in progress. Doing turn ins when the server is done till the next patch doesn't feel as good as actually making difference and building stuff. -

The chat was full of people from other servers mocking us and while a few of them might have contributed an item or two most were content to just squat and take their spot in the fate for the giant reward.Quote:
