Camera issues on large bosses

It's one of my biggest issues with this game. In WoW I could pretty much see the entire platform.

I found it most annoying on Hades EX when I was learning that, his hands or wings or whatever would constantly block my view, I even had to like zoom is really close so I could see the stuff before his wings and then zoom out to see the stuff after etc.
It's no longer that much of an issue since I know where everything will be and I don't really need to watch the platform as closely anymore but it's still mighty annoying.

Is this a PS4 thing, because I have no issues with this aside from a single exception: seeing the eyes of the last boss of Amaurot.

Edit: on further thought... This might be a melee thing. The main reason I have trouble seeing the entire boss and the platform in that fight is because of the forced range of the fight. As someone who only really plays casters and healers, I sometimes forget that melee classes are more restricted in their PoV.

No, the max camera distance is the same on both platforms.

It's simply not far enough and on fights like Hades EX you constantly have to zoom in and out and spin your camera around like a mad man (even more so when you're melee).
