    Camera issues on large bosses

So how are we supposed to fight bosses who are off the stage like the new Yorha boss? I can either see my character or I can move the camera so I can see the boss, but not both at the same time. The camera just does not zoom out far enough. I've never understood this but I just lived with not knowing. The balance mechanic in Sophia I've never gotten either. I've avoided shinryu because I think it has the same kind of off screen things to keep track of. And now this giant robot thing I cannot figure out at all. Is there some setup that makes camera zoom out far enough to actually see everything? I'm on PS4 if that matters. For most things I have the camera centered on my character and I can zoom in and out for most things but these super large bosses I need to see them and even if I tilt camera so I can see them I can no longer see myself and I splat to AOE or just run off the stage....

For this boss I literally had to have my camera facing upward like I am looking into my bootyhole and even then i could not see everything unless I made sure to stay on the outside of their hitbox

I found hades ex pretty annoying myself, either his wings were covering stuff, or he was too tall, the falling aoes are large and awkward, I feel like we need to be able to zoom out just a little more, for things to be a bit easier to see.

What helped me is to increase the camera movement speed to the max, so I can look around faster.

But it really is a back and forth between the character, the boss and the focus target. Most of the time I don't need to look at my character, I know where I am staying. And as a Lalafell I would not see me anyway >.> I call it "playing by instruments".

Honestly the only thing that helps me is by either panning my camera around a ton or memorizing the tells by the boss' lower half, AKA if you see flame of death and the boss looks like he's about to clap a mosquito it's hitting front, and if you can't see for shiznit he's hitting back.

But I do agree, I really don't like having to manipulate my camera constantly to see things, it's one thing to have things below the ground to give you tells for what's about to happen, but it's an entirely different thing when you have to constantly look up and calculate how far above the ground the object is and where it's going to fall relative to the platform, especially when you're trying to minmax a rotation.

This has been an issue of mine since Heavensward. There's a lot of bosses and trash mobs that are simply too big for the narrow field of view we're stuck with.

They should give us the option to adjust the field of view angle like in gpose. It would greatly help with the camera issues.

What helps is keeping an eye on the bosses cast bar. This will give you a heads up on what's coming so you know how to react. With the camera zoomed out to the max this should make it doable if you keep the camara facing forwards. For marx smash if he's punching with his right go left, punching with left go right. If he holds both arms straight up stand in the middle of the front section. If he holds them both spread out stand at the sides of the back section. The only time you need to watch the sides is for Marx Activation. Hope that helps.

Oh and for energy barrage get out of the middle and prepare to get to the circles when he stops firing.
