Dev's have already confirmed it doesn't.

Can't redo ARR yet, which means class quests I guess... so I'm bummed.

I would if NG+ had Achievments with rewards like Mounts, Minions or even Tittles. But there's nothing to reward you, so it's way better create a new character and do ecxatly the same thing + able to do Weekly stuff twice + Extra Slots for your needs.

The reward for NG+ is that people who want to re-experience the story simply to re-experience the story get to re-experience the story. It’s like reading for pleasure: that is the reward.

People that just want to go back and do the stories again or specific parts of stories or quests or whatever for fun don’t need the extra carrots because the re-experience is their carrot.

Ng + will give exp not for the quests but if you fight mobs while in it. I tried that out with my drg. However that's the only exp I've gotten so far in it and that was just killing the mobs out in the world. Havent hit a dungeon yet.

I unlocked ng + yesterday before going to bed after I completed the msq. Started Shb again and I am enjoying it when I play around in it, so yes I'll be using it more just gotta finish the Nier raid now.

I won't be using it anytime soon, but not because I can't level with it... I already have all but three jobs leveled.

I have a lot of alt characters that I have at different points of the story, so right now it doesn't make sense to do the story again. I am excited to be able to though.

That's a shame that you dont even get xp. Is there any incentive at all to engage in it besides indulging in nostalgia?

I'm a bit bummed they don't offer exp to level alt classes. They could have possibly had a setting to flag quests completed per class so no one would try to farm for exp. MSQ is just a really good way to level and it would have helped break up the tedium of leveling alt classes to at least be able to run each class through MSQ once for exp.

Plenty of people will use it. It was a highly requested feature.

This is kinda like asking to get job exp from Triple Triad or Chocobo Racing, not everything has to be about leveling your jobs up.

I mean, sure it'd be nice to go back maybe a year or so from now to redo some of the final moments from ShB or HW. But, the real excitement for me personally was to be able to use this to level alts AND relive the story.

But, since it only has the function of...basically a glorified bedroom journal, who is the target for this?

I really feel it'd get more use from everyone if it simply offered EXP.

No quest experience makes it useless to me. "reliving the story" can be done on an alt...and with experience points. When I first heard of it, I thought it was a good thing for levelling alt jobs too. but now it's just meh.
