First(?) Sargatanas Community Event

I thought Mor Dhona would be a lot more dangerous, but we went right through without any fights. There was only 1 attack on the runners just south of Camp Everlakes so it ended rather quietly for most people. ^^;

And it sure is hard to see those narrow paths, tree stumps, and fences when everyone is riding on a Goobbue!

Next time we can do something more dangerous. ww

How did it go??

It was a lot easier than I was hoping it would be. ^^;

There was only one small skirmish that I am aware of -- where raptors attacked some runners and other people joined in to fight them off. Otherwise we just outran most of the monsters.

I don't really know how many people joined.
In past events we first designated tanks as party leaders then counted the number of full parties we had, but this time a lot of people seemed to show up already being in parties so many of them were only partially full. And we couldn't see everyone at once because of the rendering engine limitation.

We definitely need to do another event... and next time it will be more dangerous!

Even if it was pretty short, I had a blast! Especially when we got to the end and took pictures at Steel Vigil, it was just (incoming sappiness) an awesome feeling and a great bonding experience, even through the language barrier. Can't wait for any future events!

To be fair, I am in an all-Lalafell linkshell, and I advertised the event in there to get more members. :p

Those were special items you could get when the Grand Companies were introduced last year. Unfortunately, I don't think you can get them now... but maybe there will be another chance during a future event! ^^
