First(?) Sargatanas Community Event

Hi, fellow soon to be Sargatanas residents!

Taking a cue from what is being planned on Balmung, I thought it would be nice to have an event of our own to celebrate the merging of Saronia and Lindblum.

Borrowing one of their ideas, I'd like to invite you to the

Goobbue Marathon from Ul'dah to Ishgard!

When: 31 March (Saturday), 21:00 Japan time
Who: Everyone is welcome!* <-- Please see note below
Where: Meet at the entrance to Ul'dah.
Why: Meet lots of new people and just have some fun together!

The plan:

1. Meet at the entrance to Ul'dah at 21:00.


2. Get into parties, preferably mixing people from different former servers.

3. Head out into Thanalan and call your Goobbues! Chocobos are also welcome. Reindeer suits, Santa suits, swimsuits are optional. ^^;

4. Run to Camp Bluefog and set our homepoints there.

5. Run north into Mor Dhona staying together as much as possible. If we run into any aggressive monsters (very likely!) we should stick together and fight together. Party leaders should shout out for help if their party gets attacked.

6. After entering Mor Dhona, run to Camp Brittlebark and set our homepoint there.

7. Run all the way north into Coerthas and up to Camp Everlakes, setting our homepoint there.

8. Run past the Dzemael entrance, past Dragonhead, and up to Prominence Point -- our Goal.


9. Take pictures, pop fireworks, introduce your Linkshell, trade items, and meet lots of cool people. ^^


* Because of the time there will likely be mostly Japanese players. But we have a community of Oceanic players as well as Americas and European players who are often online during this time. Communication may be bumpy, but this could be an opportunity to break the ice. ^^
