The problem is A lot of the Male only stuff usually looks more appealing to folks like me who enjoy the whole Longcoats and combat boots vibe.
Meanwhile the Female only sets are more extravagant and flashy. some folks like making their characters look flamboyant and/or cute (especially lalas)
and the Gender neutral options still don't always look the same
alot of the female versions of items usually end at the waist. and any long coats the females do get usually has their cleavage exposed.
You mean that there are multiple groups working on smaller parts for the game as a whole? Yes, I figured that much. What I was getting at is that I prefer them to put their resources towards future development over going back to retrofit gear for the opposite gender that will only be used in reality for three months just to appease a minority of people who are into crossdressing. It's a waste of time for so little return.
And besides, we already have skirts and dresses for males. It's called Caster Gear.
Yes it is. Its such a low blow to resort to criticizing my character's lipstick, when you have nothing else to say. I don't have a problem with genderlocked items. 1) They tend to be designed for the gender they're made for 2) some pieces aren't meant for all body types. Krile's outfit, for instance, is terrible for anyone that isn't a Lalafell (because it was designed FOR a Lalafell). Some people need to accept they can't have absolutely everything.
Then let them make more male exclusive items.
There's a slight difference between the two scenarios. While ultimate is optional, it's current. It also rewards its participants with goods such as powerful weaponry and a sense of accomplishment in beating the worst that the devs can throw at you. The other lets a guy wear a dress. You tell me which scenario is more worth it.
