You wont have anything above stone II, aero II, Cure II or medica II. Also just curious how or why would your character have a bad run in or whatever you came up with as to why they wouldn't want to become a whm? Concerning there hasn't been a whm in a few hundred years outside of a padjal due to the pact with the elementals. If this was still during SB or earlier it wouldn't be so much of a problem in fights as classes had a lot of role/subclass action choices but now the kit and role actions allowed dont give much support or a boost. There's also about a 600hp difference.

This, I think I'm going to give it a shot. I can already tell that I won't be able to contribute dps so that's already a hindrance

Hard to tell is troll or serious, but bruh it's basically impossible to play the game without your job crystal. From a RP perspective its easy just to say your character is a rogue or a gladiator while still playing your job properly.

my character's father was beaten to within an inch of his life by a padjal for cutting down a tree he wasn't supposed to in the shroud.
