Well, that's an online game too. Guy's just soloing. But you can play with two or three friends to help you. I don't remember.

There's this hydra fight that lives in a lake and shoots ice at you that tear down trees, and you have to go chopping off its heads. Then it starts dropping its head against you once you get close, like trying to squash you or something.

Once they fix the server and give us some spells we can cast while moving... I'd like to see more mobile battles....
thats something FF has always managed to do well....

A battle on a boat/airship/raft/train

In another thread I talked about a battle where some NM was barreling towards a town... and when it got there it would destroy the town.....
You'd have to fight it while it was running. It would run just slightly slower than our characters and slow down when it wanted to cast something on your party

It kind of sounds like besieged it that what you aiming at Rydin?

Kind of... but in besieged when you had aggro the mob would follow you
Im talking about the MOB would always be running toward the city...
And it would slow down to hit you... but still be headed to the city

So could you kill him or what would finally stop him death? you setting up a trap for him? or a certain time limit that would decrease?

You'd have to kill him before he reached the city....
So many NMs and dungeons have time limits that feel so arbitrary and random
Having a time sensitive battle that made sense would be cool
Stun, bind and heavy could also slow him down....

Maybe DOH + DOL could work together to set 'traps' up further down his path to slow him down? that would be pretty cool.

Yeah since yoshi-p wants everyone to have their role even if they enjoy Doh or DoL i think that would be a great way to incorporate them into the battle!
