And you're constantly at 0 anima all the time?
I play 6 days a week and try to at least have 10 or so anima in reserve... It's not a perfect system but some times being smart about your resources helps. Just saying.

Anima is fine. There are reasonable alternatives available, and teleportation all over the world is something powerful that deserves to be controlled.
If you ran out of anima in one day, then you're really doing something wrong. There are lots of ways to conserve it, including hitching rides with others, using the airships, chocobos, etc, using favored destinations, using Return, etc.
Friends help eachother out. alternate teleports with friends or LS mates, and you'll all use anima much more effectively.
What proof are you basing your statement on? Nothing you just said can be accepted with any grain of truth, especially since much of how 2.0 will be like can only be speculated at this time. Unless you have a direct psychic link into the minds of the devs, I call BS.
P.S. Keep the anima.
I wouldn't be opposed to them abolishing Anima costs, so long as we can still telport just as easily. Ease of transportation should NOT be limited to a single class. That was one of the big things I hated in FF11 because I always had to wait on someone else, THEN pay them, THEN get teleported to a general area instead of a specific camp.... UGH. Took forever to do anything in that game... :(
If I recall correctly, players regenerate 1 Anima every 4 hours. So that means if you teleport somewhere, and it costs 6 Anima, then you're going to have to wait 24 hours to get it back. With that in mind, ask yourself the following:
- Instead of waiting hours for my Anima to recharge if I decide to teleport, why not just spend 10-30 minutes traveling by chocobo or goobbue instead, if the location is in the same general area and I can avoid hostile mobs? (For example, Camp Horizon to Camp Drybone, or Camp Emerald Moss to Coerthas)
- If I'm going back and forth between areas, would it be beneficial to me to set my Home Point at one of those spots and just use the Return command?
- If I'm in a full party, and everyone's going to the same location, who has the most Anima to spend so that everyone else doesn't have to spend theirs?
- Have I attuned myself to aetherytes in areas that I frequently visit, so that I don't spend as much Anima?
- If I'm travelling between cities, can I just use the airship instead?
Otherwise, just stop teleporting every single time you have to go somewhere, and you won't run into this problem. :p

What do you see here? Aethers Floating away.... hmm... Are we going to tele to space? :O
I can't remember if I posted in this thread or not so I'll just DO IT AGAIN IF SO.
I think something more resembling the FFXI outpost system would be fair. Require players to reach a crystal before being able to teleport to it, then require a gil fee or some sort to travel to the crystals. Furthermore, require players to be at a crystal to teleport to another crystal, but allow returning from anywhere.
I would be ok with that, in fact that's basically what I said in a thread of mine. http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...mpany-teleport
ooh concept art, that's all it is: Concept, as in not final product and subject to change. I will concede, that it suggests that at least one aetherite in La Noscea may wind up a floating mountain a'la Avatar, but it doesn't mean that all of them are. (because then you people would be screaming over copy-pasted terrain.)
