every time they talk, someone asks about it or tries. Their last statement was if they can, they will. I'm pretty sure if they had news about it, they'd share it since people are so anxious about it.

Right, I definitely agree! I didn't mean to sound like I was criticizing their tone. I was just surprised considering how conservative Yoshi is with his answers. He usually always plays aloof when it comes to something he disagrees with or dislikes.

I know he's very busy, and like I said, I definitely don't mean to criticize. I just wanted to make sure I was reading the tone correctly. :)

He looked drained, maybe just tired, maybe the just 'everything', but yeah looked a bit like he'd have fun relaxing with a beer than doing the stream lol. Hopefully he'll feel better and feel recharged soon, or we're just misreading the situation and he's fine.

Could just be a massive work overload, and the guy is like SLEEEEEEEEEEEEEP and then work is like: "SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK!!! GET BACK HERE!" lol. /comfort Let's bring him our new bed mount for a power nap :D.

I wonder if when he says that feedback can be too rough if he's actually talking about us though. I imagine unless he's reading our stuff himself then wouldn't a lot of it get translated into core concepts and not literal translations?

Meanwhile their Japanese forum isn't always polite (and especially when you move off into anon boards and stuff like that), something that the Devs would/could read without a filter like we probably have due to translation and aggregate feedback reports. Not that I'm saying we have a free pass to be rude, I'd hope any relationship is mutual respect and even I've tried to adjust how I leave feedback since long ago (not that I'm perfect lol, but I've attempted to have things be constructive and just feedback).

I agree. I definitely have criticisms on his decisions with resources and choice with what is priority in this game... however he's still a person. I got pretty worried about his rest after seeing the dramatic tone shift in this live letter compared to others. I really hope he gets rest. I know he's such a busy person, but he can't take care of the game if he's not taking care of himself, right? :(

He was definitely tired, could see that. Maybe even stressed out some from how his neck muscles looked. I don't mind the live letter though, they answered the top rated comments that were gathered, people forgetting there are other languages in these forums too =P Let's just hope he gets some rest.

He's tired we all know it but this time he's kinda rude when answering several question,
not extremely offensive but insensitive joke here and there to dogde question which might trigger some people...

The answer regarding the loot is a nice example...

My only issue with the live letter is they touched only one healing question, about just one job, and that was it.

I noticed that they chose one of the ones who agreed with half the changes to astro to answer to boot.

I mean all this did for me was make me put up my healing things for good.. it's a bit sad that I have some sweet glams for healers that can't be worn by other jobs.

There were a lot of ways they could have handled the live letter, but regrettably it left me disappointed as well. I don't see why us Viera can't have the older hairstyles if the heads are shaped the same except for the ears. I also think that for future QAs that there should be less of a smug tone to some answers. The Feo Ul/Housing on the first questions seemed like they came from a good place but a better answer instead of talking about riddles would have been, no, we can't do this just yet or that with enough demand it could be possible. Lastly, I found it bizarre that they ignored the gender question as well despite it being one of the highest liked ones.
