Another thing I really like about Lancer is multi-mob hits. Securing Horizons Edge on Lancer is so easy you can crank up the difficulty rating if you manouver the Amateur Footpad so that he is standing between you and the Amateur Raider and Spam Invigorate, Skewer, Trammel and Cure (when needed) as each hit goes through both mobs.

Loving LNC, can't wait for 50! I'm looking pretty fly right now with all my gearzzzz. I really hope that "Evil Armour" is for us, would be shweeet.

I'd love to see the Jump ability as a gap closer, more like a leap maybe? Leaping forward thrusting the polearm into the ground

Why? Perhaps lancer is a precursor to DRG via FF tactics style of getting advanced jobs. Maybe you lose the life surge abilities for yourself and your pet adopts it instead. Etc etc etc. There are a myriad of ways to get our little Dragon back if we cry out for it long enough.

Maybe Lancers could become "mounted" combatants, with multiple branches of advanced jobs:

Wyvern Knight - Gets a wyvern that can be ridden!
Chocobo Knight - Gets a chocobo that can be ridden.
Cavalier - Gets a horse that can be ridden.

Give bonuses to the party's combat while the * Knight is mounted. Granted this would make them stronger outside of dungeons than in, but this is an idea in progress.

I think there needs to be a "Lancer" LS on every server, and collect everyone that is maining Lancer! I am in IStory!
