Suggestion: Close Raid Roulete Loophole (Using low ilevel to force low level raids)

That's why I used MSQ roulette. It's all the same level and always exactly 4 dps. Well, actually I used it because I run it a lot more and forgot, but the principle applies. If that many people are queuing directly for castrum meridianum there are probably as much or more queuing directly for Syrcus Tower.

And yet I used to get the Mhach raids all the time via Alliance Raid Roulette, until this mogtome event.

Players can also use this method to get certain Trials or 50/60 dungeons (through their Roulettes), although if you really need a certain duty you would probably specifically queue up for that particular one anyway and not expect a randomisation system do it for you.

Note that for the Trials one, it cannot prevent the roulette from giving you Ravana, Bismarck, Susano or Lakshmi, as these lack any ilvl requirements.

I am also pretty sure this is the reason why SE does not want to put an ilvl requirement on leveling dungeons. People could do the same and in order to avoid Toto-Rak, Aurum Vale, or any dungeon they dislike they will unequip their stuff, locking their roulette to Sastasha and Copperbell Mines (even more).

I don't thing this would be the case for most people, as those "3-Button-Dungeons" are boring as f... so they don't want to do them over and over again.
Usually I'm very happy if I get something beyond level 40 or so where single-pulls because of missing AOE-skills are not longer the case. It's actually "the higher the better" in leveling roulette, at least for me.

But yeah, I guess Bots would be just spamming the low-level-dungeons with minimal iLevel.

I've gotten void ark maybe 5 times ever and dun scaith twice ever. ://
Shame cause the 50 ones are so much easier (barring absolutely terrible groups) that I barely even have to pay attention. I'd love if I got more variety in that roulette than 60-30-10 ST-LoA-WoD :P

one of my alt doesnt have any 50 alliance raid unlocked and my roulette were always over 30 mins, atm getting dun scaith on chaos server is 30+ mins on prime time, several hours during the rest of the day.

and thats a real shame , lota especially is the only raid i run out of time outside 1st week realese, it was such a fun raid :(
it would be so much better in they keep challenging olds raid ,even dun scaith ,apart 1st boss ,it is becoming a rool face.

That said, I didn't get Dun Scaith a whole lot, but I'd say 1/4 of all my Alliance raids were either Void Ark or Wiping City, until a couple months ago, and now this last month it's dropped to never.

I don't know how far the system could go in terms of detecting what people are doing...

But, if possible, I think it should sync the people who lower their ilvl to the minimum requirement the raid rather than the 130 maximum of the ARR (or 270 of HW and 400 or 410 of SB). So incase they get the labyrinth they want with the roulette, they'll have to do it as ilvl 50.

I am not suggesting this because I noticed it recently. I can count with 1 hand how many times I've queue'd into Void Ark and Dun Scaith this year.

The devs have the numbers, I'm pretty sure they've seen how little the Heavensward raids get ran. The community might want to use the loophole but it hurts the game and the intent of why they added the roulette.



If someone queues with an ilevel of 80 you can kick them from the raid if enough agree that they did that in a vindictive/trollish way. By the way with my suggestion your gear will get LOCKED when you start the duty. Your example of someone trolling a tank or a healer by removing your own gear during the instance won't work, your gear gets locked the moment you get in the duty.

I highly doubt SE is going to do something that would result it players getting removed via vote kick. I do not think they want that to be the norm, though I do agree if they did do something like that removing them via vote kick would be quick and easy,
