First of all, the vast majority of accounts that actually gather the gil to sell to RMT sites are in North America, not China. China is where the actual sites that sell the gil are located, but most of the gil is not gathered by the Chinese.

Furthermore, because the RMT sites don't actually gather much of the gil themselves, it would make no sense to invest hundreds and thousands of dollars into crafters.

And really finally... As I said: Moogle and Namazu quests. If RMT worked the way you mistakenly think it does, then they would very easily be able to get an army of max level crafters, because the supposed "sweatshop workers" would easily have the time to invest.

Selling level skip potions for Crafters would not destroy the economy at all. In fact, it would probably help balance the economy since there would be more competition. The only reason someone wouldn't want this to happen would be if they are one of those crafters that are mega-rich and DON'T want proper free market competition because they'll start seeing smaller profit margins.

You’re right and wrong, haha. For starters, that is how RMT works for users that are Chinese or Korean. (Not in general, obviously.) I would rather not reiterate my post, so please read back. And if you wish, I can post sources for my information. Keep in mind not all of it is public, you’d need to be more involved in the scene to know more. Also, you seem to not understand how “hacking” actually works, since you believe the accounts they use are hacked accounts, which, isn’t the slightest bit true. All I will say is that there are private MD5 packet methods to see what someone’s user and password are.

Also, I never claimed they were rich at all. I simply said they earned a lot. “Rich” would be the players who exploit the game, but I won’t discuss that here. Please don’t put words in my mouth, haha. Trust me, you are dead wrong about how this works in MMOs. I would love to further debate with you on the matter, but I would likely get suspended or banned on here for saying things relating to packet editing and the money that goes into it, that normal people wouldn’t understand. RMT, in game currency, in game items, how they obtained nonstop, why they are obtained nonstop, and why exploitation is even involved seem to be subjects you don’t understand. I don’t mean to be rude, but what you’re saying just isn’t accurate information.

In short, you are wrong. Secondly, it is bad for the economy unfortunately. I don’t see it ever happening. If it does, hopefully there is something to balance that out.

Regardless of how the "story" is finished, some people don't consider ending the story the end of the game. Some people are in it for the glamour and profit, since we've allowed avenues to the end of the story, having an avenue to the endgame in crafting isn't too far a stretch.

I understand what your logical reasoning is here, but it assumes everyone who is playing has the same goals and path to what they want. Allowing one group a shortcut but not allowing another is unfair.. technically.

What people consider the end of the story is irrelevant, to complete the game content offered you have to have DoW or DoM leveled. The same can not be said for DoH/DoL.

Once again, what you consider interesting content isn't what everyone else considers interesting. Reminder you CANNOT progress the 3 extended beast tribe quests without having at least one DOH class leveled. Storyline, quests, content.

They better not, definition of pay to win economically.

Also, what does this have to do with our conversation? Okay, look. I’ve been a crafter since 2.0. I enjoy making gear prices low so people can afford it, I enjoy crafting..make around 300 pieces of gear a day because I work from home, I love World Visit even though many high end crafters hate it due to lower prices. I even have a lot of Gil that I share with friends. Even purchased Large Plots for friends in the past due to me being “rich”.

Smaller profit margins are nothing. I enjoy crafting because it’s fun. What I dislike about jump potions for crafters, is that it will immediately undermine everyone’s hustle and struggle to get to where they are. It also greatly benefits RMT accounts as I’ve said numerous times..

Please leave out your personal feelings about high end crafters and be objective here! Come on!

I know this is a really selfish thing to say, but I want at least one level 70 class/job on my Lodestone page that is guaranteed to have been leveled from 0 to 70 the old fashioned way. There, I said it. You may proceed to hate me now.

If you can use a bot that harvest points and teleports to NPC's to offload and repair, or a bot that runs the MSQ from 1-50, then a bot that can take a set amount of supplies and craft is no contest. The game practically has it built in with "quick synth".
