reality check, it was a success and each installment got better as it went on. Eureka was filled with happy people with great memories. Not perfect, but mistakes are to learn from which is why Pagos is the best installment of the series
Diadem isnt not the same at all. Eureka was a success and completely different. We have bunnies, logos action, ultimate dungeon, and people actually working together. Take away the "glowing circle fate" and it is an open world boss like most mmos have."
Nah, scrap players who just redicule everything. I dont like crafting and savage and ultimate, but people do. So why scrap it? People like Eureka but you dont, so why scrap it? That is entitledment
It doesnt have to be Eureka but please be open world brand new content and not the mess of 2.0/3.0.
Keep the relic in please! We finally have content people enjoy.
Eureka is finshiedso no more resources, however please continue the trend and make an even better eureka for the relic in 5.0 being open world and add quests, weaker monsters, and actual exploration and skills like super jumping, climbing, rock breaking, deep dive, and skills that arent for combat but to transverse the world to reach new locations.
This. If nothing else and SE is still hell bent on making the Diadem a thing for the love of all that is good. Please don't tie either Relics or an important story to it!
I don't mind it either way. People will do it no matter what.
I won't touch Eureka because I don't like the content provided by it. I do wish the Relic wasn't tied to it, or at the very least we had options to do it without setting foot inside. Hell I'll even take a option where chosing to do the Relic outside of Eureka is automatically harder just to keep that proverbial carrot the developers wanted to force people into the content.
To be fair a lot of that was people going into Eureka simply for the Relic and dyeable job gear. A few patches back all the housing gear added to the game was also Eureka exclusive as well to provide yet even more proverbial carrots, which I know pissed a good number of people off. While Eureka has been a success a lot of that is due to the carrots people wanted that were imposed upon the content. It'll be interesting to see how Eureka might perform without putting stuff people desperately want and gating it behind the content. As Eureka stands now based on what I've heard about it, it likely doesn't need the carrot on the sticks anymore because they finally seemed to have hit their stride but the path it took to get here was definitely rocky.
Honestly eureka is miles better than the old ways of relic farming, grinding out poetics and other types of items wasn't fun. They did good merging all that crap into the crystals, even the light farming in eureka wasnt as bad as outside light farming. Haters can just go do other content if they don't like it.
Dungeon atmas were a thing too, on top of the original atmas. I know people who took 40+ runs of AV, darkhold, and the like to get the drop. And it had to be synced.
Melding the materia into the scrolls on the original weapon, had to be in order using grade 1-4 materia, with failure chances. Its even worse now because grade 1-3 materia is so rare.
TWO light farms, as well as the original mythology grind (10500 tomes! theres a reason brayflox hard mode was called mythflox) just to get the privilege of waiting possibly hours or days for your fate to spawn so you could complete 1 of 9 books.

Anyone who thinks the original relic was less grindy is really forgetting what it was lol.
