I like the name. If it were an expansion title, I'd have made it sound even creepier by calling it Shadowborn or something, but that's probably trademarked.

Which begs the question "Are WE the Shadowbringers?". Will we be put in a similar position to the Warriors of Darkness, now that we understand that the imbalance of light can be equally destructive?

hmm pretty cool name if it's true, guess we'll have to wait and see if that is indeed the expansion name, should find out at the fanfest in novemeber.

Sounds like a dumb name for expansion. Sounds like a old movie or game from 80's. If it is anything like Stormblood expansion I won't waste my money getting. Only way I would buy it. If came with new race and 2 new healer and tank jobs or if dancer was one of new job classes.

SHADOWBRINGERS sounds absolutely fantastic, so dark and sinister, if that's the name of the next expansion then it's sure to be great!...


I wouldn't expect anything less than HEAVENSWARD and probably better, I must clarify I don't like STORMBLOOD as I did with the previous expansion!...

Could Shadowbringers be 4.5 patchname?

Going off the timing of the trademark registration of Stormblood, i'd give it another month. as Luna put it, Shadowbringers sounds like it could be 4.5, which if 5.0 has a focus on Ascians, would make sense as a lead up, but it's kind of weak as a full blown expansion title.
