While I will agree that I think it could use a few more "oasis" points, and I really wish the yards didn't look like mud when it rains, the Goblet has been growing on me since we moved our FC there. I just bought a 19 medium last night, I love that it's right on the water. I think it's just that most players want a "fantasy" or "foreign" feel, and this doesn't really give much of either, so they're biased against it.

The Goblet is the ghetto.

I honestly love all four zones in different ways. That's one reason why I got into housing, to collect a nice plot in all four wards.....which led to other stuff...lol

Better to have nothing than a house in Goblet.

Mist is my 3rd favorite housing zone, Behind shiro and gob. Lav beds being the worst. IMHO.

I just keep wishing for an ishgardian housing ward, i would love to have a "ski resort" themed housing ward. everything right now is just an island or cove based around a water focus, ones on a platue, two are on tropical style beaches, and the last is in the middle of an inland lake. know a new housing district in ishgard probably won't happen but something with a different focus than right now would be nice.

My cynical side says you know, they'd make it hot springs like Dragonspit in Coerthas Western, or put it in the middle of a giant frozen lake for ice skating. (I do love XIV but even I admit that they like to reuse ideas.)

All 4 houses have their pro's and con's, but the Goblet is just fine. Goblet 19 medium is an amazing plot, on the Mount Rushmore of mediums. I know plenty of people that would argue that Goblet is the best, my one complaint is that there isn't more grade 1 mediums, like the other zones. That being said, Brimming Heart is a great area, and some actually prefer the the secluded houses there as well with the canyon views. I would rank it last of all the zones myself, but I like it a lot, as I like all the zones for different reasons. The ultimate solution is just to have plots in every area so at the end of the day it doesn't matter. I just decided to get Larges and mediums in all 4 areas, which I have accomplished, now I just need to do the same with smalls.
