Likewise. 3k is nothing for convenience. If you're profiting off that, help yourself.

Or people who know the item comes from an NPC, but are too lazy to travel for it. As long as you don't get greedy with the markup, a lot of people would rather pay a modest convenience tax than go get it themselves. There's nothing wrong with providing a service people obviously want!
Heres a good one that worked in my favor. Needed a couple everbright aethersand to craft. Noticed someone put 50 HQ of them on mb for $9.5k a piece. Normal going price was like 30k. Spent 450k on them, took what I needed and sold the rest back at regular price. Made a hefty profit out of it.
I sold a pot of pure white dye for 2.5 million, I put it up not expecting to sell.
I have also flogged a lot of shit from vendors, I've sold ash trays for nearly 250k.
When the extra Shirogane housing plots were released, I made about 4 mil in a day just selling housing items from the Shiro vendor.
if I notice someone constantly undercutting me I'll see how low they will drop their prices.
I'll keep dropping my prices until they are at least 50% below market value then I'll buy up their listings and relist everything at normal market price.
I do the same as a buyer. Like, if I want to buy a large quantity of something and feel it needs a "price adjustment" Ill just buy a couple and relist at a lower price + wait for people to undercut me.
Profiting off other peoples greed gives me a warm fuzzy feeling
I have done that too, even funnier when those are legit NPC items. Usually, things in stacks of 20 sell the best, since most things are used in multiples of 4 or 5.
But I guess some people just straight up don't care and actually valued convenience than the actual cost. It's a good thing, they help people get rid of stuff that they don't need!
I love capitalizing on that 10,000% laziness/ignorance fee on items sold by NPCs.
