Unfaithful FC mates ANNOY me...

Just do what I do and don't try to build bonds with every new person that joins immediately until they have proven that they are here to stay.

In my experience those kinds of people are usually looking for a quick pay and scoot and would have dropped the FC regardless of whether they could access the chest or not. The only difference being that you'd be short a few million in items had it been unlocked.

My FC only has four members. So we don’t need to worry about anything.

I try to commit to whatever FC I join (but first I usually give it about a 3-5 day trial before deciding to try elsewhere to see where I think I'd fit in). What usually causes me to leave regardless of how long I've stayed (last FC I was with, I was with for almost a year) is usually OOC drama and/or the founders (or people I joined to be with) stop logging into the game or have some pretty alarming issues. I'm usually pretty patient with waiting for others to come back, it's mostly the drama that wears me down.

^ Definitely an issue that happens. Sometimes, the loudest person can be repelling.

I take friendships seriously,I want something true and long lasting and I feel like people are such superficial fools that they are unable to form a serious true bond.I don't bother making friends anymore,it's a good thing that I'm an introvert or else it would bother me but solitude is best after all.
