That's because the last thing anything NEW came out, it was Diadem 2.0. And we all know how everyone loved that.
Fact is, Eureka is nothing more than FATE grinding on a bigger scale with ever so slightly more thought put into "what im killing, and what am I going to kill next".
I think it's safe to assume most people aren't a fan of FATE grinding, if you're about to say "Prove it" then I have nothing more to say except that you are disconnected from what people find fun nowadays.

On a serious note though, despite the fact it's FATEs, we were going to have to grind FATEs for the relic no matter what. That is if you use the last two as examples. FATEs have always been a step in the relic grind. At least this time I can do FATEs in a cross world party instead of with a single friend or two and our chocobos on lower pop servers. The FATEs also give mendacity tombs as well. That's something SB FATEs would not have given me.

Is it perfect, no. Does it need some QoL adjustment, yes. Are the doing QoL adjustment, yes.
really, adding in Party Lev Sync, NM display prioritization, and tweak the turn ins.
Those are all this content really needs in my eyes and its all on the horizon. Stop acting like its the worst thing since LoV and should be scrapped.

You have another choice of make a party of same level to chain normal mobs and go to NM only when train pops it.
You also gaining tome for your ilvl 360 gear after lvl 13.
If you want me to choose between grinding dungeon (i usually got my tome from PvP) for tome and this, i choose this.
