I managed to relocate my FC estate from a mansion in Mist to an cottage in Shirogane.

I had no idea you could do that! I know what I'll be checking on when I get home. It always freaks me out having that option show up.

Is there a way to leave a note for mods to lock the thread?

In my fc I have the ability to relocate the house, but I got it disabled right before the housing rush to prevent this very problem if I were to move my personal. Sucks to hear what happened to you. :(

I prohibited FC members from relocating the moment we got a house. I figured since I paid for it they have to deal with the house I picked. I also lock the ability to demolish the workshop. Why are these even options?

Oh, another thing I remembered! One of my buddies tried to trnasfer his house the other day and it wouldn't let him due to all the shit he had in his house's storage. So you could also fill up your FC's house storage will all sorts of junk. Then no one can relocate it.

I agree with both. My FC and personal house are both located in Goblet and even now on Cerberus there is tons of small houses (especially in Goblet). Hardly because of random timers as i dont see anyone waiting in front of them and Cerberus isnt low population server, well at least this is the feeling i have.

Based on what other said there is quite few servers with decent amount of unsold plots. Now for anyone who is located on server where all plots are sold - transfer.

We had kind of the opposite happen with our fc house. Got to one of the dream shiro plots, but due to being tired and the options being new, someone transferred their personal plot over instead. We luckily had enough gil in the fc coffers to fix the issue/ensure they got their personal plot back, but with everything going on during a housing frenzy it's not hard to mess up.

Serious question, did you get any gil out of it? No way the small should have been more than 30% of the mansion.
