Lets be real, two kids would probably not qualify for mentor status. Either way. Just because some people have a bad view of mentors, doesn't mean EVERYONE does. I am proud to be a mentor, I just don't use the crown for superficial reasons.

Yes, I've done the grind multiple times, it doesn't mean I think I have to. Don't be ridiculous. I don't care if someone shares an account with a kid, that is not my responsibility, it is however SEs responsibility, I feel, to make quality of life changes like this to the game.

A simple workaround would be to let the character who originally earned the status be able to choose which charas on the account are qualified to share it, since SE's own ToS allows account sharing on very specific instances.

What about the icon? Would be there a leaf crown?

That's the point. Mentors are just for help sprouts on the basics and alike, while people seems expect them being gods of everything. "OMG your rotation sucks. And you call yourself a Mentor?" that's actual attitude (and misunderstanding, ofc).
