I would LOVE to see the Alchemist from FFX-2 incorporated into FFXIV as a utility/healer/dps (probably a dps slot with utility).
I just love the Al Bhed vibes that class gives off.
From the ones OP listed though (aside from Chemist since it is basically Alchemist), I would choose: Dancer, Puppetmaster, and Blue Mage
we need a new tank and healer but honestly i want a new support dps, one that is actually supporty not just heres a few buffs. Dancer and Necro would be nice i can see one being a dps support or even possible a tank with pets. but also at the same time we need more melee dps, they always seem to get the short end of the stick.
Out of everything, Blue Mage is the only series mainstay that has appeared as a playable job in a large number of FF titles but has not yet appeared in FF XIV, so for that reason I think they have to do it and find a way to make it work here. I believe they will.
Also Dancer I guess because it seems to be a very popular request. After that, nothing really stands out to me. I guess Mime could be considered one of the core classic jobs but that's even harder to imagine how it might work here.
I would prefer focus and balance the Jobs we have now, and rather add new races and character customization options.
Dancer. That is all I want!
Beastmaster. I want to fight alongside beasts that I tame.
Second would be a ranger/archer type. I always play this type of character in RPGs and loved Archer in FFXIV but then I found out I had to sing and play a harp and urghhh no.
Personally I want to see a Gunblade-based class which swaps between ranged and melee abilities. Kinda like how Red Mage is for WHM/BLM.
And Black Mage is supposed to get those much needed QoL adjustments in 4.2, so all will be about as well as devs can make it possible.
Also, for those of you thinking "maybe instead they should focus on balancing current jobs instead", remember that they did revamp every job on top of making two more, so 5.0 would still give enough room for jobs since there wouldn't be any need to completely revamp jobs again.
