I'd be mostly fine with it being around 3 or 4 type of difficulty. But 1 and 2 were a joke and don't deserve the term savage.

Can't have story in hard raids, can't have "hard" in raids. . . Between this and all the PvP derps, I'm starting to feel like there's not much left for me.
Even if PS5 existed they would say the same crap about needing PS6 etc
People love to crack about console limitations, yet they literally told people they might need to upgrade their PCs for Stormblood. . .
They eliminated PS3 at the same time, so it's not surprising that the PC minimum might go up with it. The game is pretty easy on requirements, honestly. You don't even need a gaming PC to play it, a laptop with a real GPU can do it, and you can get those at Costco.
But yeah, the idea that the PS4 is holding them back is downright strange. That thing is a beast. It's more powerful than my PC.
People play this game on minimum settings with less than 30fps.
If the game required hardware for at least minimum 30 fps, more people wouldn't be able to play.
the ps4 isn't that powerful, they were just able to optimize for it, i'm not really surprised they think it has issues, especially since, in the CPU department, the PS3 was stronger.
Pretty much the only things they did in regards to minimum recommended specs was update the list with current hardware, and not obsolete, ancient hardware. they didn't really change anything other than that. It was talked about at the fanfest, if i remember right, that it was more a "no one would go out and buy something with this in it anymore, so now its more accurate for todays purchasable hardware"
blah blah "savage is so easy why arent they making it harder"
...census shows maybe 5% or less of NA on most servers clear OS4, and maybe 1000 people total Savage coil. The whole raid puffery gets old after awhile.
