I que myself for seize and shatter only because secure feel so boring for me. I like once you get rewarded by damage buffs once you kill your opponents. 24man que usually pop during 6 - 12pm. I like 24man more because you have more impact winning the match than 72man and it is lot more melee friendly. Currently leveling my ninja time to time in frontlines.
Eh...to be honest I've pretty much stopped queuing for frontlines.
You cannot expect people to keep playing the same mode with zero change for years, with no real incentives. There need to be new maps every six months to a year, for all modes. You can just base them on current map geography or something, but SE has a bad habit of trying to drive people to do the same content way beyond its sell date through items and tomes rather than add new variations. Like at this point tomes aren't even a draw any more; even with DPS I can get expert just as fast as a pvp pop sometimes.
third. the maps are the same since they launched, and some of us have 500 matches on something like seal rock. The changes don't even matter at this point; if we still had 3.0 id still be tired of it. You can't just have a single map on a mode for a year or more of play, es[ecially when there are maybe four unique maps for 24 man total.
They did confirm a new Seize map is coming. Didn't say when, and they DID say it would take a while. I'm hardly one to defend how much they drag their feet with anything significant in PvP, but the maps themselves haven't been an issue before now.
well, keep in mind that even if you got tired of it, there was a big reason to still do it due to the relic. The tomes in general were overall more valuable then, and pvp was better than spamming unsynced savage. Garo was a little draw, but you earned it relatively fast. Now there's really zero incentives to do the modes much; both poetics and verity are overall worthless to a veteran player, and we finished all the garo stuff four months ago. The same problems apply to level 50/60 roulette, but Seal Rock hasn't been changed since it was introduced. Its not even like the matches are all that dynamic any more. 8v8 robs a lot of the chaos from the mode and makes it much more predictable.
I think you mistypes "new pvp system"
Dota2, League of Legend, any other similar competitive game, map isn't really an issue m8. Its the level of competitive and strategy is what makes these pvp fun, but you know... the new system abolished like 80%+ of those thrill and counterplay
