21 guild leves per level at 43

I don't stand there and get 0 exp. I do leves while seeking which gets 4k exp a leve like I said.

After seeking for about 4 hours some guy invited me to a party. This guy had ports to camps and stuff which I didn't have. Went from 43 to 48 in 7 hours. Went through 3 or 4 different healers.

My server has a population of around 370ish at peak times, so yea it does take quite a long time for enough people to be in your range to from a group. They honestly do need to merge servers cause it really shouldn't take that long to be able to form a group.

They take longer if you do leves that are above your level to get the exp chain bonus. This happens at levels *1, *4, and *7 where * is an integer between 0 and 4. At these levels, you're 2 levels below the levels of the monsters, and for soloing 2 levels means the difference between completing a leve in "6-10 minutes" versus completing a leve in 15. At these levels, sometimes it's necessary to sacrifice the exp chain bonus and just do the lower level version of the leve because the time spent vs exp reward is too small. Might as well be better off getting the speed/completion bonus.

The funny thing is, as soon as you gain one level so that you're one level below the mobs, it gets exponentially easier to pull off exp chains AND get the speed/skill bonus.

Basically, because leves don't scale to your level, you will either be fighting mobs at your level up to 2 levels above you. I had this same issue when I was rank 37 with my PGL the other day. The 4* leves would take too long, while the 3* leves gave no exp chain bonuses.

Anyway, to the OP, Naylia gave some very good info. And I honestly think you're kinda overblowing the whole "I can only find one or two people to party" with thing for your level. For soloing, I found that the Raptors nearby Camp Iron Lake in Limsa Lominsa to be a fairly solo-friendly place to level. The mobs there are soloable, but if you can even get a small group - something like 3-4 people, they're nice and squishy and can be mowed down at an incredibly fast rate.

By the way, if you want to use the Riot Blade --> Rage of Halone combo, hit C to temporarily disable the lock on, run forward (through the mob), then use Riot Blade. If you do it fast enough and the server isn't being a laggy sack of #)$! the game will register the Riot Blade as a back hit, allowing you to pile on damage with the Rage of Halone.

GLA actually does better damage this patch now thanks to the combo system, so I think you should be killing a little bit faster now if you combo correctly.

Also, if you use Guardian's Aspect, each leve gives you anywhere between 3k-6k exp. That is crazy good and makes leveling a lot easier for people like you and me who prefer to solo or do lowman parties.
