Yeah. I'm just saying... Square-Enix pls, feed my addiction.
But really, it'd just be a nice gesture. I won't be upset either way, but it'd be nice.
I'm more interested in the using Achievement Points to buy things. Finally, it will have a use.
Veteran players got to enjoy some of these awards literally years before these changes. Just because you don't get anything new doesn't mean you didn't already benefit. And if you bought the game time just for the item instead of actually playing the game, SE's scam worked and it's totally on you, not the newer players.
I for one welcome this change. Not only will I get to enjoy some of the awards much sooner, but achievement points suddenly have meaning. AFAIK they were useless before this, and as someone who enjoys achievement hunting, this gives me extra motivation to indulge in that passion. And if they add more items in the future, so much the better.
Well, since they put older veteran rewards as exchange from achievments points (I read that correctly did I?), like behemot and arhiman mounts (they were veterans rewards right? So long I don't even remember) or barding and minions, they might add more in the future too.
So as long time veterans, we can actually save up those points while new plazers will blindly spend them on those older stuff. So when new stuff comes out we already have a good stock of points to buy the new things.
Another option would be to put consumables like phantasia, aetherite tickets or dyes in there, so the more you play the game, the more free stuff you can get but if you are in a rush you can go buy it on mog station. [but since achievement points are limited to a hard cap, i doubt it will be the case]
Unless I got it all wrong and those minions simply became rewards for past achievments, which would be lame.
Very happy, I was a month away from Zidane's outfit, but next week I will receive both outfits, this is good news for me.
