I just want to know OP's reasons as to why they want the sync removed. 5 minute faster runs?
Simple, I am one of those item level 340 players. I spent a lot of time earning my gear only to be synced to i310. Makes the effort feel worthless
Oh and I assure you it’s aggravating knowing I have over 2300 crit then I enter that dungeon and it goes down to 1750 ish. It’s noticable and makes my class (bard) frustrating even more
The roulette is just misnamed. It's for casual play, not experts. The raid gear can be used to full power in raids or any duty with the undersize option selected. I don't know, I kind of see your point too. I guess the solution is just more choices. Keep the casual light party content but also introduce harder unsync ones for people who are clearing raids. That's on the backlist of planned content actually, they are doing hardcore light-party content.
The best solution is probably to make sure that people who can farm the top-tier raids cap their Creation by just doing those raids, so they don't find the need to do the daily roulette.
The daily roulettes were never something designed for the top-tier raiders. So hold your horses.
Sometimes you can use both (aggro dumps and aggro quelling) and it do nothing. That can either be due to poor tanking or to you just plain outgearing the tank. Speaking from the perspective of a BRD main, why SE choose to remove Quelling Strikes (an aggro queller) from a job capable of an 8k or higher burst on a single target (if your procs love you) boggles my mind. I use my aggro dumps as often as I can, but they're on a 3 minute long CD, and you have to pop them basically when you are on the brink of ripping hate for the best effect (popping an aggro dump pre-pull like an aggro queller does nothing). If I start climbing back up the aggro and am about to rip again 30 seconds later, that is not the fault of me, or of my not using my aggro dumps.
i310 is overkill for all three Expert Roulette dungeons. i340 even more so. If you feel your "effort" obtaining Savage gear is made worthless by item level sync, that's your own personal issue. Not an issue with the ilvl sync system. I say this with all due respect.
